Stainless Steel Liquid Coating 316L. Corrosion protection for industrial use

SISTEMI STEEL IT

STEEL IT includes various “systems”- each one composed of primer and finish coat – and “formulations” to meet the most different requests of coating and protection

Polyurethane System

The one-component polyurethane system is composed of primer type 2203 and finish coat type 1002.

2203 primer is a combination of modified alkyd resins, selected silicates and iron oxides where AISI 316 L stainless steel micro flakes of various sizes have been embedded.
It contains no chromates.
1002 finish coat is a blend of polyurethane resins containing the same AISI 316 L stainless steel micro flakes.

Low V.O.C. Epoxy System Semi gloss finish

In order to meet customer’s requirements on surface appearance, Stainless Steel Coatings Inc. developed a low VOC epoxy system with semi – gloss metallic finish.
This two component system is composed of primer type 4220 and finish coat type 8908. Technical characteristics are the same of the other epoxy systems.

Epoxy System

The two-component epoxy system is composed of primer type 4210 and finish coat type 4907.

Both 4210 primer and  4907 finish coat consist of a blend of  two-component polyamide resins where AISI 316 L stainless steel micro flakes of various sizes have been embedded.

High temperature silicone formula

The one component formula for high temperature type 5903 is a blend of silicone resins where AISI 316 L stainless steel micro flakes of various sizes have been embedded.

It resists up to 200° C.

Low V.O.C. Epoxy System

The two-component low VOC epoxy system is composed of primer type 4220 and finish coat type 4908.

Both 4220 primer and  4908 finish coat consist of a blend of  two-component polyamide resins where AISI 316 L stainless steel micro flakes of various sizes have been embedded. They differ from the “classic” epoxy system (4210+4907) for the low content of volatile organic compound (VOC), lower than 250 gr/lt. and the resulting higher solid content and coverage.
